Art in the Yard is a new outdoor community art initiative for viewing a wide variety of work on display by our local members from our central location just off Lymington High Street.

The local art event in the heart of Lymington
Art in the Yard is your opportunity to celebrate the wealth of talent in the local area and for local artists to get involved in our community art project. The event promises to bring together a wide variety of art including original artwork, ceramics, woodwork, glassware, photography and demonstrations by local artists.

hArt TherapyAbout hArt
hArt is a young Lymington based charity offering creative ways to support mental health needs in people of all ages and at all levels. We offer a wide range of activities from art workshops for families through to therapeutic one-to-one and group work for people with very specific and complex needs. Our aims are to to use indoor and outdoor spaces to encourage self expression and self care for health and wellbeing and to bring people together around creative activities for friendship and community connection.

How it works?

Choose an event from the dates shown to pre-book your pitch. Or, pay and display on the day, if space available.


Limited Space

Our 3.5m x 2m high Heras construction panels are split into 2 pitches. There is a total of 16 picture hanging pitches and space for 4 table top pitches.


Exhibiting Costs

Members of The Local Art Scene (25% Discount)
1 x Pitch (Half a Panel) / Table Pitch - £18.75 per day
2 x Pitches (Full Panel) - £35.00 per day
Non-Members
1 x Pitch (Half a Panel) / Table Pitch - £25.00 per day
2 x Pitches (Full Panel) - £45.00 per day

Advanced Bookings

We require a non-refundable deposit of £15 per advanced booking date. Please enter your preferred date/s below. If it is raining on the day and the event is cancelled, your pitch will be moved to the next available date.

What you need to bring?

A table if you are exhibiting ceramics
A small table if you are selling cards and prints (Must not be wider that 1.5m)
'S Hooks' to hang your painting on the gridwall (Can be purchased at most iron mongers and DIY stores)


Insurance

As this is an outdoor event, artists must have their own insurance. Cheapest we found was membership to a-n which include public liability insurance for just £36 per year. Click Here for details.
