MADE LONDON - Marylebone
MADE LONDON – Marylebone is an annual contemporary craft and design fair where the very best of national and international designer-makers present and sell their work to the public. Over 120 exhibitors across all media (ceramics, wood, silver, gold, glass, textiles and more) showcase their original, unique and exceptional work to the capital.
The event takes place in One Marylebone, a gorgeous former church designed by Sir John Soane.set over four floors each with a distinct character. The crypt is double height and impressive with it’s own special ambience and a mezzanine layer around three sides. Soane Hall has incredible height, ceilings and the beautiful original altar. The Galleries, up sweeping staircases, are light filled spaces with fabulous large windows.
The show promises to be a friendly, relaxed, highest quality contemporary craft and design fair, where the makers themselves meet the public to discuss inspirations, design processes and future projects, enabling maker / consumer relationships. A cafe in the crypt provides space to take refreshment and ponder potential purchases.
