Antonella Edwards - started her journey as an artist and designer at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham where she completed a Foundation Course. Moving on she studied a degree in Art & Design and History of Art/Philosophy at the London College of Communication and then went on to complete a Post Graduate in Art Education at Reading University.
Over the last 30 years Antonella has worked for a host of award-winning design agencies as a graphic designer and illustrator, including Minale Tattersfield and John Brimacombe & Associates, her clients included Cadbury’s, Vidal Sassoon, Proctor and Gamble, Roche and Heinz. For the past 17 years she has worked as an artist and educator, teaching students of all ability levels and ages from GCSE art through to 'A’ level and further education. Antonella runs Arts Holiday Italy as well as a weekly adult art group where a number of art lovers come to develop their painting and drawing skills. Her work is mainly based around natural forms, landscapes and the exploration of colour, through nature walks in the Tuscan countryside, where she gains her inspiration and ideas. She works in acrylics, water colours and mixed media which give her the flexibility to create paintings that reflect her personal view of Italy.
