The Local Art Scene

[PRESS RELEASE] Local artist website, The Local Art Scene has launched its national website aimed at supporting local artists and art in over 250 towns and cities around the UK.

The Local Art Scene displays local artists, art galleries, suppliers, exhibitions and events in towns and cities across the UK providing them with the opportunity to reach a national audience. People interested in buying art and visiting exhibitions and events can search by individual counties and towns to discover the best in local art in their area.

This new venture encourages community based professional and amateur artists to display their profiles on The Local Art Scene to promote their work. Potential customers can then contact the artists or their galleries directly.

Proprietor, Trevor Hart said “Creating and managing an online website or profile can be a daunting task for many artists unfamiliar with owning and maintaining a website. At The Local Art Scene, we work with artists and galleries to create and update an online profile which showcases their unique talent.”

“Basic membership of this website is free. Local professional and amateur artists, galleries and organisations holding local exhibitions and events can submit their work for inclusion in towns and cities across the UK.”
