About the artist:

Tina Adams

I work in acrylics, watercolours and pastel, enjoying in the dynamics of colour, movement and atmosphere. I often paint at church conferences, festivals and services, responding in the moment to the worship music.

I've always loved art and my first memory of primary school is the sheer joy of seeing jam jars full of beautifully sharpened crayons on the tables, and the thrill of each new blank sheet of slightly cream-coloured paper.

In the last few years I've learned to overcome the challenge/terror of painting live in front of people, beginning with no idea of what is to emerge on to the canvas, and literally going with the flow!
